To make sure your contributions are applied in the 2025/26 tax year, the following timelines must apply:
- Final date for submitting the contribution upload in SmartEnrol is Monday 23 March 2026.
- Employer authorisation in Aegon Retirement Choices is required no later than 5.30pm on Wednesday 25 March 2026.
If you want payroll contributions to fall into the 2026/27 tax year your payroll will need to be submitted on or after Thursday 2 April 2026.
We expect 12 monthly payments to be authorised in each tax year. Please check your past payroll dates to make sure they match up.
